ISSA UK “Application Security Training Day”
Bletchley Park
May 12th 2011
Bletchley Park was home to secret British codebreaking activities during WW2 and birthplace of the modern computer. ISSA-UK have been running annual events at the venue both to help support Bletchley Park (they rely 100% on donations to keep going) and let our members experience first hand, with a guided tour, as to how codes were broken and the critical role that Bletchley plays in our history.
Codebreaking these days is extremely tricky. Even with an army of bots and supercomputers it would take hundreds of years to shatter public key cryptography, so instead we turn our focus to something else that can be broken - applications.
We have put together an action packed, application breaking agenda for you, for what should turn out to be one of our best events of 2011.
